Pistols and Revolvers
What is a modern pistol or a revolver? Why are these "articles" of metal and (more recently) plastic enjoyed such a high popularity all over the world? Perhaps because they are small, moderate weight (well, almost everything:) and can provide sufficient firepower, enough not only to defend themselves, but also for offensive action, and even hunting for small-and medium-size game (mainly for hunting use revolvers or single-shot pistols under a powerful cartridge). Of course, each situation should (ideally) to select the appropriate weapon and ammunition.
One of the newest guns - SigSauer SIG-Pro Semi-automatic pistols use a small portion of energy burning at a shot gun charge in order to extract a barrel firing sleeve, cock or striker and hand in these new cartridge into the chamber. The cartridges are generally located in the box-shaped product placed in the handle of a pistol. Box magazines may contain up to 15 rounds (and more) in one or two rows, and allow you to quickly recharge the weapon.

Customized revolver chambered for .45 RRA. The drum is opened, a number of rounds in a ring - moon clips Revolvers are named so because of the rotating (revolving) of the drum, which contains the cartridges. Usually cylinder contains 5-7 rounds, some revolvers .22 (5,56 mm) can contain up to 10 rounds. The cartridges in the drum can be recharged in two main ways - one by one, as, for example, the Colt PeaceKeeper or Nagano (and most of the old - 19 Century - revolvers), or all at once - when the drum is chirped at a special lever to one side (left, in most cases ) or when the frame break in two, opening the official section of the drum. In this special detail - extractor emits spent cartridges from the drum. New cartridges are inserted one by one, or using special clips, spidloaderov ("speedloaders").

And revolvers, and pistols are two basic types of mechanism: a single (or single) action (Single Action) and double-acting (Double Action).
Single action means that the trigger must be cocked manually Revolver for each shot (if the platoon rotated drum). This type of work was only possible for the majority of early revolvers (like Peacekeeper'a), and is still being implemented in most modern revolvers. This mode improves shooting accuracy, but reduces the rate of fire. For pistols, Single deystvieoznachaet that trigger (or drummer) gun for the first shot must be cocked manually (usually it is doing by lifting and dropping back cover-slide. It cocked action spring, and be sent to the breech first bullet). For second and subsequent rounds of the mainspring and cocking cycle of reloading is done automatically when the shutter is rolled back.
Double action revolvers to mean that for the first and all subsequent shots the hammer cocked, muscular strength arrow when you hook on the trigger, while the drum is rotated. This mode increases the firing rate and firing easier, but greatly increases the force necessary to release (from 1.2 kg in single-action revolvers to 5-6kgs and more - a double-action revolvers). For pistols, the trigger (drummer) cocked by pressing the trigger only for the first shot, all the other shots are in automatic firing. However, the first bullet should byb runaway into the chamber through the distortion of the gate. Typically, psitolety dual action in this case remain cocked, like pistols single action, but they allow you to remove the trigger with cocking and bear arms with the cartridge in the chamber and discharged the trigger. In addition, this mode allows Porobovati right to re-shoot the patron, who gave misfire, just once more by pressing the trigger hook.
Some, mostly - compact, pistols and revolvers are the mechanics of double action only, in which the hammer cocked ALWAYS just pulling the trigger, even if the recharge is automatic. Often in such weapons is not the fuse, as this scheme provides a shot only at full e. descent with considerable effort.
It seems to me to be alone to say about the latest fashion in the pistol - the use of polymeric materials for the manufacture of frame (housing) pistol. Naturally, the serial tselnoplastikovye guns for now - more a fantasy, for trunks, closures and major part of the trigger mechanism is made of steel. In the polymer frame has its pluses and minuses. First, the most significant plus - less weight (a difference of one class for pistols with steel and polymer frame can dostikat 150-200 grams). The second plus - a large low cost manufacturing and a smaller number of parts of the frame. Third - high corrosion resistance of modern polymers. The most typical representatives of the class "plastic" pistols - series Glock'ov, Smith & Wesson Sigma, CZ100 ...

Fit Sigma $60 To some, the near perfection of the Six Sigma management system appears to be an impossible ideal, especially for small and medium enterprises. FIT SIGMA TM , a flexible and more sustainable approach, was developed through the integration of the ‘hard' Six Sigma approach with Lean Enterprise philosophy. It consists of three elements; fitness for purpose, fitness for improvement and integration, and fitness for sustainability. FIT SIGMA: A Lean Approach to Building Sustainable Quality Beyond Six Sigma shows how this tripartite approach can be used to add value to both large and small organisations through improved use of resources, and through the provision of improved customer satisfaction. It shows that a holistic approach to operational excellence underpinned by a data driven methodology can be applied equally to the manufacturing, service or public sectors. As the Six Sigma philosophy has evolved in recent years to take into account new challenges faced by companies, including climate change, green supply chain, emerging markets and a growing service sector, so FIT SIGMA TM has also adapted itself to these new demands. FIT SIGMA: A Lean Approach to Building Sustainable Quality Beyond Six Sigma covers key developing areas including: Sustainability and Environment Non-profit organizations Service Operations Supply Chain Management Project Management Emerging Markets Small and Medium Enterprises Green Thinking Each chapter contains practical implementation guide, illustrative examples and case studies, and concludes with a summary of key elements for ease of reference and revision. In addition the book includes a comprehensive glossary of common terms and phrases used in managing quality, along with an appendix which illustrates the applications of basic statistics in Six Sigma and Fit Sigma. |

Six Sigma Team Dynamics covers the last component of Six Sigma-improving team processes. The successful completion of Six Sigma depends on teams working together and applying a proven methodology that defines, measures, analyzes, improves, and controls the process. These team dynamics and the roles and responsibilities of all constituencies are the last remaining key to successful Six Sigma implementation. |
