As an authorized dealer for Viridian Green lasers we always speak highly about their laser light combo, C5L or X5L laser. We have talked about the advantages of the green laser compared to the red laser in earlier blogs, so I would like to address the advantage of a laser light combo mounted on your self-defense firearm. I would like to share a recent experience in my life. Just last week around 3 in the morning my child came into my room and woke me. She said she heard a noise downstairs. She has never done this before, so I was a little nervous and would not have been able to go to sleep without checking it out. I would rather be safe then sorry. We live in a safe neighborhood, but it seems in today's world this does not matter anymore. In my opinion no home is immune from a break-in. Some people might grab a golf club or a bat, but I prefer a firearm. I have always lived by the motto never bring a knife to a gunfight. The only weapon I trust in my house is a firearm. I quickly pulled my Locksaf Personal Biometric Gun safe from under my bed and placed my fingerprint on the lighted print sensor. The box quickly clicked opened to give me access to my personal weapon with a Viridian X5L light combo under the barrel. I activated the laser with a quick press of the on/off switch. The laser and light came on at the personal programmed level. There are over 20 combinations of light level and green laser combinations available. I prefer the highest level of light (100 lumens) and quick pulsing laser.
I left my room and started down the stairs. I walked the laser along the wall as I made my way down the stairs. I wanted to make sure if someone was downstairs they might see the laser and think twice about sticking around. The green laser makes a great deterrent. I always say a laser will breach any language barrier. There is no need to explain what a green or red laser means. I did not hear anything moving around, so I continued to the first floor. The Viridian X5L flashlight laser combo gave me the piece of mind to enter a dark room. The great thing about having the flashlight attached to the laser is you can keep two hands on your firearm at all times. After walking through the downstairs I fortunately never found anything wrong. Thanks to the Viridian X5L green laser light combo I was able to return upstairs and easily fall back asleep. The next morning my wife told me that my daughter told her she was glad I was her daddy. I really took that to heart. There is nothing more important to me then protecting my family. I choose to use the Viridian X5L Green laser combo attached to my personal firearm to accomplish this mission.
