So its lunch time, brake time or whatever and you need to do some killing. Well your in luck because the world wide web provides plenty of free games to make this happen.
Here are a couple I like.
First up is The Sniper 2, a free online sniper game where you play the role of a World War II sniper. Set way back in June of 1944, you will use your skills to assist the allied forces in a bold plan to retake Normandy. As part of a group of battle hardened British Commandos, your unit will spearhead the advance and lead the attack on German forces. You as the designated unit sniper will take position above a small town and utilize the scope of your rifle to find targets. Each mission will focus on a different section of the town. There will be enemy soldiers, snipers, high ranking officers and informants, all needing to be dealt with in a swift and deadly fashion. There is a time limit, and the enemy snipers will shoot back at you once they have your position. As an increased challenge, the cross-hairs of your scope will move in rhythm with your breathing. On a successful kill, notification will be given when you make a head shot. Keep in mind, you cannot see these targets with the naked eye, you must scour the terrain with the optics on your rifle to find them. Additionally, some guys try to hide behind objects in the battlefield, so they may be visible one moment and not the next.
Overall great game to kill time with.
Next up is Stick Shot. You are a highly trained ex-military sniper recently discharged and thrown into the civilian world. With no demand for your deadly skills in the civilian sector, and money running low, you go underground, and put the word out. You are for hire. The game has five levels, each with increasing difficulty. There will be some background info and instructions at the beginning of each mission. This is an engaging and challenging game set in the modern city of today. Targets include drug gang leaders and mob bosses. In addition, you will be called upon to provide protection. You can use your phone to identify the bad guys. You must pay attention to your ammo and look out for the shooters who will try to take you out before you complete the mission. Either duck for cover or eliminate them. Earn bonus cash for making head-shots and use your money wisely when buying weapons and upgrades. All this and you must try to leave innocent bystanders unharmed. Overall not the easiest game to beat, but definitely a good challenge for a free sniper game. Don't worry if you get stuck somewhere, there is a walk-through already written and it is accessible from the main game menu.
