Should I Buy a 7 Inch Or A 10 Inch iPad Clone? Which Is Better? The 7 Inch iPed Vs The 10.2 Inch aPad
There's no question that consumers looking for iPad clones have a lot to chose from. There are both 7 and 10 inch clones that go by names like iPed, aPad, ePad, iTablet, android tablet, and iRobot, etc. There are varying features and sizes. Most notable are the clones that are about seven inches and the larger models that run around 10.2 inches.
You also have the choice between the android operating system and windows. With so many choices, it can be hard to know which is the best for you. I recently had someone ask me if she was better off going with the 7 inch iPed with the rockchip processor or the newer 10 inch aPad with the option of windows. I'll discuss my take on this in the following article.
In my opinion, you really can't go wrong with either of these. Your choice really depends on how you're going to be using the tablet. The iPed with the rockchip processor is incredibly fast and very popular. It's small and sleek and it easily fits into a purse, briefcase or backpack. The processor can easily accommodate movies, YouTube, and video. And, it does run off of the android operating system.
On the other hand, the 10.2 inch aPad has a processor that is very bit as fast as the iPed's (many say it's faster,) with the option of either android or windows. This larger model does give you more real estate with the screen, which is why it can be favored for people who are going to watch a lot of videos or do a lot of word processing or reading on the ebook reader.
The larger screen can make typing easier (although either model allows for a plug in keyboard.) This 10 inch model is the later (and newest) of the two, but that doesn't mean that the iPed is dated. In my opinion, it's not, although the iPed is a bit cheaper. From sales alone, as of right now, the 7 inch iPed does appear to be the better selling of the two, if only slightly, (which may be because it's smaller and a bit more portable.)
In my opinion, the question of which tablet is better for you comes down to how you're going to use it. If you're just looking for a compact tablet and media player, the iPed with the rockchip processor is a great and extremely popular choice. But if you're going to be a heavy user, want a larger screen, or really have your heart set on the ability to have windows as the operating system on your iPad clone, then the 10 inch aPad may be the better fit, at least in your case.
